Yog is a Sanskrit word translated as “yuj” or “union.” To yog means to draw together, to bind together; or to unite. Its aim is to yoke or create a union of the body, mind, soul, and universal consciousness. This process of uniting the physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual aspects of ourselves is what allows yogis to experience deep states of freedom, peace and self-realization.
Yog is an ancient system of physical, mental and spiritual practices that have been passed down through the generations from teacher to student. Yogic practices include breathing techniques, postures, relaxation, chanting, and other meditation methods. There are many different styles of yog, each with their own unique focus and approach to creating a unitive state.
Its origins are traced back thousands of years to the Upanishads, a collection of yogic texts dating from roughly 800 BC to 400 AD. While the word “yog” was first mentioned in the Rigveda, but the first time it was used with its modern meaning is in the Katha Upanishad. This ancient spiritual text was written sometime between the 5th and 3rd century BCE.
About MA PREM SANGEET
My own journey has been one of overcoming obstacles to achieve personal growth. Raised in Mumbai India, I adopted an early belief that money would bring happiness. Leaving my home Country to start family was a defining moment – it made me determined to succeed as a wife, an employee in a corporate job and a mother of two beautiful girls – but despite the resulting career, something was missing: I didn’t feel a sense of purpose.
Until I startedpracticing Yoga and Meditation for my own Self Growth.
Never knew what Yoga could do but it lead me to move into Sound Healing Practice and become a Kriya Yoga Instructor today.
All this long I had been into this Journey of self development and help people to meet their higher self.
This Year 2026, I resigned from the corporate world and pursued my passion for personal development and different healing modalities to help others heal and transform their lives.
My sound healing journey began a few years ago when I purchased my first singing bowl at the Mind Body Soul festival. Intrigued by the harmonious pure sounds and wanting more, I started attending a sound bath, Yoga sessions, Meditations since 2018 and experienced an intense emotional release. It was a breakthrough, a past situation that would have triggered an anger response, now left me feeling inner peace, calm, and lightness.
I was fortunate to study my Sound Healing Diploma at the Academy of Sound Healing, learning from the best and meeting so many likeminded beautiful souls on this journey has been magical and spiritual. It’s been an honour learning about the powerful transformative benefits of sound and the process of facilitating Sound baths to groups.
Every sound ceremony gives me the opportunity to be creative and incorporate different modalities such Yoga , Breath, meditations and rituals combined with the power of sound, making it a unique and transformative healing experience. As a Sound practitioner I absolutely love creating and holding intentional sacred space for people to experience the power of sound and brotherhood, it’s magical.

Through a series of synchronicities, I encountered the powerful world of vibrational healing. Sound, like colour, bypasses the mind and works directly with the body’s energetic field. The results continue to amaze me: deep releases, emotional clarity, and renewed balance in my clients after just one session.
Today, my path has evolved to include a deep relationship with instrumental sound.
Each offering at Mystical Valley—whether a session, training, or instrument—is shared with intention, reverence, and love.
My story continues to unfold, just like yours. And if our paths are meant to meet, I welcome you with an open heart and an open ear.
With love and frequency,
NAMASTE! Ma Prem Sangeet

Yoga
While the world has embraced Yoga and allowed it to flourish, like many things of profound nature, it has also been diluted, fragmented, and exploited. Under the skillful guidance of our yoga practitioners, we teach Yoga comprehensively, practicing aasan, pranayam and dhyan in group and individual sessions. Therapeutic benefit, structural alignment, coordination, mental strength, and healing are incorporated as objectives.
As we develop our spiritual practice, we work towards Yog – the union of body and mind. This wholeness or union is a recurring concept in every major genre of Indian wisdom.
Most mornings will begin with 60 practice to get the body moving and the mind awake and ready for the day.
In the afternoons we practice a lighter yin class or Yog Nidra
